Unlinker Tool for All Roaming Labels

Modified on Tue, 12 Aug at 3:40 PM

The Unlinker tool is used to bulk unlink all roaming labels at the store, removing them from the system. It was created primarily as part of the One Off Label Check process but could be used independently.

Prerequisites

  • A full backup PRC has been generated for the store.
  • The Unlinker executable has been downloaded - Unlink all Roaming Labels.exe
  • Make sure that the store staff are notified beforehand.

Steps:

  1. Copy over the executable file to the PC server or your computer.
  2. Run the executable.
  3. It will prompt you with questions such as if the server is on-prem or in plaza. Just type in 'y' or 'n' to answer.
  4. It will ask for a DNS. If you are within an on-prem server (not plaza), just type in 'localhost'. otherwise if in plaza, enter the subdomain name e.g., '40.noel-leeming.pcm.pricer-plaza.com'
  5. After this, the program will proceed with the unlinking.

Other Things to Note:

  • The roaming labels will not be removed from the system if the base station is offline or faulty.
