ESL Battery Replacement
ESL batteries are generally replaceable as long as the correct process is followed.
Warnings
The key point to remember with replacing ESL batteries is that there is a limited time that ESL can survive with a battery. This generally accepted to be around 20 seconds.

Battery Type: They are usually CR2032. Basically a dry button cell battery and they do contain lithium.
